FuturLab has officially unveiled PowerWash Simulator 2, the highly anticipated sequel to its wildly successful cleaning sim. The game is set to launch in late 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, marking a major milestone as FuturLab moves into self-publishing after PowerWash Simulator’s breakout success under Square Enix.

Bigger, Better, and Even More Satisfying

For those who love the oddly satisfying process of blasting away grime, PowerWash Simulator 2 promises to be an even more rewarding experience. According to Design Director Dan Chequer, the sequel builds upon the core appeal of the original by adding new tools, features, and quality-of-life improvements while maintaining the zen-like satisfaction of deep cleaning.

The sequel introduces an expanded campaign set in the Muckingham universe, featuring fresh locations like Sponge Valley, Power Falls, and Lubri City. Players will also have a personal home base for the first time, where they can decorate with furniture and invite friends over.

Multiplayer fans have even more to look forward to, with the introduction of split-screen co-op and shared online campaign progression, perfect for teaming up and tackling tough stains together.

A Sneaky Nintendo Tease?

FuturLab also hinted at an exciting reveal coming in April, which has fueled speculation about a possible PowerWash Simulator 2 appearance at Nintendo’s rumoured Switch 2 Direct. Could a portable power-washing experience be on the horizon? We’ll have to wait and see.

With its unique gameplay loop and millions of fans worldwide, PowerWash Simulator 2 is shaping up to be another unexpected hit. Stay tuned for more details as FuturLab prepares to reveal even more in the coming months.
